About Us
Founded by the young Australian EDM music producer and DJ Jordan Quill, Golden Skies Records is a collective of the next generation's music producers from around the world. Our goal is to inspire more producers, grow together and make the best music we can in otherwise neglected sub-genres of House and EDM.
Globe-trotting superstar music producers shook the music festivals of the 2000s and 2010s with the rhythms and melodies of unforgettable music. Now, their work is heavily regulated by the opinions of the business executives who have a firm grip on the music industry through the record labels that own it. Golden Skies Records holds it's artists to no creative obligations and provides a network like no other; with a growing list of signed artists, it will be impossible for listeners to know exactly what will come next.
Founding
Surrounded by fellow "bedroom producers," Jordan Quill's first creative endeavour to involve a collection of likeminded music producers came with the idea to offer his yet-to-be released 2024 album "Golden Skies" for remixes. Six weeks after the release of the original album came ten official remixes, each produced by young bedroom producers of varying House and EDM genres. Seeded from that moment, the idea of a record label grew stronger and among many efforts and projects to make it his biggest year yet, Jordan Quill founded Golden Skies Records in early-2025, launching with the release of "Take Us There" on April 25.
